my hunny is "addicted" to this series on t.v. called Intervention and last night they had a show on how an entire town in alabama got hooked on crystal meth.... it was very sad and very unnerving! i have never been around that kind of drug and have never seen it in person, but from what i understand, it can age you drastically and you begin to loose teeth and everything, but what the show didn't say was what is in the drug that it has to be cooked? does anyone know anything about it beside the obvious , that it ruins lives!? and why do they wear those plastic outfits to "decontaminate" where it is made?

I don't know for sure, but I would think breaking down the elements of the "ingredients" for a blend is why (if any are solid. Meth has some nasty ingredients-
Psuedoephedrine (E)- yup the stuff in Sudafed- why anything sold with the ingredient is sold behind the counters, Iodine crystals, Red Phosphorus (RP is made from the strike pad on a match book. NOT the matches themselves but the pad it is striked on.) Colemans Fuel, Muriatic Acid (HCl), Acetone, Methanol, Lye

GROSS! Why in the hell would someone want to put this stuff in their bodies?

that is nasty!!!! people put that stuff directly into their viens!!!!
