			<description>I have heard quite a bit about this controversial address to the kiddies. And of course on the surface it all looks benign, and perhaps even a positive thing to reinforce the importance of education. But what is most telling here is the numbers of parents that are saying they are seriously considering that they will give the children the day off in this peaceful symbol of nonviolent protest.

I think the real answer needs to consider how long will it take the RBA to get it's act together and how upfront it will be about how to pay for the shortfall of revenue. I oppose the F&amp;B tax entirely!



As far as the true needs riders if we eliminate buses we could probably work out an arrangement with the North Township Dial-a-Ride to cover that with expended service  ...</description>

			<description>curious. what does everyone really think of the fiscal situation in gary? on the one hand i think we all recognize the city has been abused by its leaders and has squandered its past revenue...and ballooned its budget way out of controll. on the other hand those past officials have committed so much to retirees that it is virtually impossible for them to run an efficient government today, without screwing those retirees out of their benefits and pensions.
