I have heard quite a bit about this controversial address to the kiddies. And of course on the surface it all looks benign, and perhaps even a positive thing to reinforce the importance of education. But what is most telling here is the numbers of parents that are saying they are seriously considering that they will give the children the day off in this peaceful symbol of nonviolent protest.

I think the real answer needs to consider how long will it take the RBA to get it's act together and how upfront it will be about how to pay for the shortfall of revenue. I oppose the F&B tax entirely!

As far as the true needs riders if we eliminate buses we could probably work out an arrangement with the North Township Dial-a-Ride to cover that with expended service ...

It never really registered in my mind that one day I might find a 60 year old sexually attractive but hitting 50 really changes your perspective on things.

I was watching an old Tales from the Crypt episode and there was Carolyn Seymore, a Brittish actress whom has done some acting in the US as well whom I'd remembered from years ago but it was just driving me nuts to remember from where. So I went to Wikipedia and was surprised at just how many US shows she's been on, including 2 of the ...

I cannot believe all the opposition to helping out our automakers. Where is the pride in American companies and the American work ethic? If GM,Ford and Chrysler are forced into bankruptcy,we will see several things happen.

1-The assets of these companies will be bought up by foreign companies, just like what has happened in the steel industry.

2-As a result of the bankruptcy, retirees and their widows will lose benefits they spent their entire lives working for.

3-The UAW will lose members ...

Seriously- wtf! Why the hell does it cost so flippin' much for a textbook that you will get- what!?- 3 months use out of? I have spent close to $500 just on books for one semester. What kills me even more is when a professor writes a textbook, we need it for his/her class, have to pay full price for the book -we can't even get a break in price as his/her student! He/She is making a killing while I'm freaking out about how I'm going to either scrape the money up or pay back my loans!

My oldest son and daughter lately have been sufferring from massive breakouts. They are small bubble type (gross) pimples, not like the red splotchy kind. I'm sure it's something to do with hormones. I'm going to get ProActiv for them.. has anyone tried anything else that worked? Poor teens, they are handling it pretty well though. Had it been me I would have refused to leave the house, terrible as it sounds lol

I have officially realized that I can't lose this damn weight without taking phentermine. I go and get them in 30 day supplies. I have one left of my last bottle and I have been holding on to it for a week now. Since I'm back to the diet doctor on Thursday to get another script I'm going to take it today. This past week not being on it.. I realize I'm still a starving beast. Can't figure out why I can't "just do it" without the pill.. but I know that I can't! GRRRR!

So I'll admit it, I LOVE my crocs. I only have one pair, a black pair (so it goes with everything)- oh wait- as I type this I am remembering that I have a pair of croc flip-flops...oooohhhhh I have to go find those and dig them out!!! I remember when I first saw them that they were the ugliest pair of shoes I had ever seen. Then seeing them more and more peaked my interest and I had to try them- that's when I bought the brown (and blue) flip-flops. Oh I had just stepped onto a piece of heaven ...

i find myself caving to the requests of my kids after football practice around 7:30pm to stop and get something to eat...meaning fast food! Not only is this expensive, but terribly bad for me and them...but i'm so worn out by then and still have to get them to bed and myself to work that i run out of energy and time. I would value any suggestions for fast fix meals or lite snacks that don't cost too much!
